Faunea is a part-peruvian, part-danish acoustic/electronic singer/songwriter and composer, based in Denmark.
Born and raised in Denmark with a thoroughly theatrical childhood, and having taught herself to sing and play the guitar, she has had the opportunity to perform with- and warm up for some of Denmark's most influential artists throughout the last decade.
Faunea has recently decided to go forth with a solo project,ocusing on a playful universe with elements of an electronic sound, featuring sampling, and analogue synths with soft undertones, Giving associations to the likes of Tim Burton's musical sensibilities. Her voice has been described as a delightful combination of lightly intimate, with a surprisingly powerful dark side, occasionally showing itself, guiding the listener through the maze of a slightly manic character.
Currently, Faunea is in studios in Copenhagen, where she's working on her english debut, with several producers backing her up.
